Earlier this spring, we had the incredible opportunity to photograph three beautiful mothers-to-be in a dreamy styled maternity model call at Perry Lowe Orchards, just outside Wilkesboro, NC. Nestled in the foothills of the Brushy Mountains, this historic, family-owned orchard provided the perfect setting for celebrating motherhood.

This orchard is one of the most scenic gems in the Wilkes County area. With its blooming trees, historic character, and breathtaking views, it’s a dream location for maternity photography. We’re so grateful to Perry Lowe Orchards for allowing us to bring this vision to life.

🌸 Hannah

When Hannah arrived for her session—the very first participant in the model call—I just knew we were in for something special. We hit the timing perfectly with the blooms in full beauty, and everything came together so effortlessly. Hannah absolutely lit up when she was with her fiancé, Zach—you could feel how excited they are to become parents. The entire session had a soft, romantic feel that was simply stunning. I can’t wait to meet their little one soon!

🌼 Abby

I was thrilled when Abby reached out about joining the model call! As a mom to one little boy already, she was overjoyed to be welcoming another into her family. By the time her session arrived, most of the orchard blooms had faded—but the lush green landscape paired beautifully with her dress and hair, creating such a natural, vibrant look. She absolutely radiated joy during our time together. Just a few weeks later, her precious baby boy arrived earthside!

⛰️ Kristi

Lastly, capturing Kristi’s maternity portraits was incredibly special for me. We’ve known each other our entire lives—growing up together and sharing so many memories from our school days in Statesville, NC. She’s been one of my closest friends, and photographing this chapter of her life filled my heart with so much joy.

If you know Kristi, you know just how gentle, kind, and calming her presence is. She has a way of making any space feel like home. I have no doubt she’s going to be an amazing mother to her sweet baby boy. I truly can’t wait to meet him!

It was an absolute honor to document these beautiful moments for Hannah, Abby, and Kristi. Each session was a reminder of how powerful and fleeting this season of motherhood can be—and how important it is to preserve it with intention and care.
