Tori and I have been friends since high school, so when she asked me to drive near Columbia, South Carolina to photograph in-home newborn and family portraits, I absolutely said yes! Newborns don't always sleep during photos (especially during photos!) but sweet little Blair slept the entire time. I had never met her older sister Addie, but her personality is so sweet and kind and she is thrilled with her little sister!
One of the things I deeply appreciate about the Stewart family is how they trusted me with lifestyle photos in their home and on their land. I will preach it over and over again, but I firmly believe your photos will mean more to you when you when photographed at the home where you do everyday life. Memories are stored in that very spot and what better place to document your family than where you feel love and safety.
It was an honor to enter their sacred space and document this beautiful moment in time for their family. I'll never take this job for granted.
